I should start by saying that Family Secrets is the third book in a series. It is great probably best to read the first two book first, although it works on its own if you do not.Family Secrets is such a fun read. I love the wonderfully cynical sense of humor that appears throughout it. It is even still a really good book if you ignore the comedy completely. It has good characters, good dialogue, and the plot just keeps gaining momentum right up until the end.
Anybody looking for a dark, comedic, assassin adventure need look no further than this.

Michael and Valerie are about to tie the knot but not before the twins learn a few more “Family Secrets” than they bargained for. Oh my! Olivia and Kharmista must have every misogynistic man looking over his shoulder. This series is laugh out loud funny.
I love this third installment of the Charon Family adventures! A fun ride with twists and characters I adore. This may be my favorite so far and I look forward eagerly to the next! If you're interested in action with humor this series is for you!

Darn you for writing another great Charon Family Adventure book. 'Family Secrets' is just so fun to read that when you're finished, you want more, more, more! I would highly recommend reading the first book on in sequence...Rod does give some backstory, but it's fun to get into the characters from the beginning. I was disappointed that the storyline didn't return to Jackson Hole and the wonderful Four Seasons with it's fabulous concierge, though! 8-) [inside joke]. There is no disappointment whatsoever in this third book! Quit reading this review and go buy all three!!!
Well, Rod Pennington has done it again....with the third book in his Charon Family Adventure series, Family Secrets. I laughed so hard and was on edge as I read the action parts of the novel and basically just fell in love with the Charons and their wild cohorts. A fabulous book and joyously recommended to those who have a thirst for adventure, action, sexy characters and mystery all rolled into one book. Can't wait for the next in this series! Kudos to the author once again. To the readers....BUY THIS BOOK!!!!
`Family Secrets' by Rod Pennington is the 3rd book in the Charon family saga. I had not read the other books in the series before this one and I did not feel as if I were missing out on anything in the storyline. This book was exciting, thrilling and funny. Some of the quips between the characters literally had me laughing out loud. The book is very gripping because there are twists and turns in almost every page turn. I was excited to find out what was going to happen next. This is a really fun series and the author is very talented!

I simply loved this series. The twists and turns were great. Fire finally learned her lesson about showing some humility. Angela Taylor's role threw me for a loop, I didn't see that one coming, nor did I believe the outcome. Ice sent me over the edge, I just knew that he and Kevin was dead. Michael got Valerie. Karma, Mr Roshi and the gang really socked it to Mr. Piggy. Goodbye, Trust. Great series. I would love to see more from these characters in future novels. I am a new fan of this author.
